account in the first day and hasn't been able to log back in. they are likely to sit on the sidelines as long as they possibly can and either pay the fine or not sign up. >> we hear it all of the time. young people have to buy n. if they don't buy in who pays then? >> it is all about the rest of the folks have to pick up the rest of the bill. they are people who have insurance and finding out right now, their premiums are going through the roof. the la times article highlighted a self employed lawyer pregnant and married and had a plan she paid 98 a month for and told by health net, they are cancelling that plan and buy one that is $300. and there are hundreds of thousands of people who will have to pay average of 30 or 50 percent more. >> it is staggering. but you wonder if that increase

is coming out of the right pocket, what comes out of the left pocket and what happens to the economy? >> you are right. it is middle-class folks that notice that big of an increase. it is the biggest percentage of their wallet and what are you going to do? there have been cosmetic changes to the web site. the smiling woman, that you may have just seen is gone and replaced by four logos and she's gone and four logos that are supposed to make you easer for you to navigate and register. and the healthcare.gov lady her disappearance is a mystery. no one has tracked her down and the administration will not release her identity or information or name. >> she's out of a gig. as the hour rolls along we'll try to log on to the healthcare.gov. alisyn or new jersey or new york. >> new jersey, and i have done it for an hour and haven't been able to and just seeing that error message. >> i will try new york for the next hour or so and let you know

rolls up in a motorcycle and guns everybody down. who in these countries has the backs of these people, the christians? >> in egypt under mubarak, conditions were far from perfect. i would not contend that but with the muslim brotherhood suppressed, the christians had an opportunity to live normal open lives. remember the secretary general of united nations himself was a coptic christian. but what you see going on now, the muslim brotherhood forced out of power by the majority of egyptians and virtually all of the coptices, is now engaged in terrorism and gurella warfare and against the stability in the country. and they believe that targeting the coptices helps their cause. the military government has more to do to try to protect the coptices. >> you think they have or are

plans. the purpose is not to build a web site. the call in centers and in person centers, it is to provide information to americans about the health care choices available to them. health care choice that were not available proir to the affordable care act. >> the president when he was trying to get the law passed. if you have health insurance you will be able to keep your plan. this morning david a xelrod pressed on that point anded the vast majority will keep their plans. will you admit when the president said if you have a plan you will not get to keep it that that is not true. >> let's be clear and what the president said there will be changes brought about to create minimum standards of coverage. minimum services that every insurance plan has to provide so that an individual shopping for insurance, when he or she

purchases insurance knows this maternity and preventative services and mental health services are covered and the policy doesn't have an annual limit or lifetime. there are out of pocket expenses. and that is annually and for a lifetime. it is true there are existing health care plans on the market that don't meet the standards and do not quality for the affordable health care act and can be grandfathered. what is true, that americans who have insurance on the existing individual market will now have numerous options available to them and six out of ten will pay less than a hundred a month. it is better insurance coverage than what was available in many cases to americans around the country and in an area of the

insurance market that was so lightly regulated that you often didn't know what you were getting. you can sign a plan and pay a lot of money for out of pocket expenses and find out it doesn't cover the condition that you have. that will no longer be the case. i get what the effort here is, but the fact is. >> but the president said one thing and you are admitting that that is not the case. not everyone will cope their plan and admittedly wind up with better insurance in the long one. and the president solid it as if you have a plan you will get to keep it and that's not true. >> ed, i appreciate what you are trying to do. 80 percent of the american people get insurance through their employer or medicare or medicaid. they don't have to worry or change anything. those remaining individuals who don't have insurance at all.

now will have it available to them or get it through the individual market will have it available to them through expanded medicaid services in those states that accepted the . as well as through the health care marketplaces. it's correct, i mean, i think your point, it's correct that substandard plans that don't provide minimum services, that have a lot of fine print that leaves consumers in the lurch often because of annual caps or lifetime caps or, you know, carve outs for some pre-existing conditions, those are no longer allowed. because the affordable care act is built on the premise that health care is not a privilege, it's a right, and there should be minimum standards for the plans available to americans across the country. >> there was a woman on cbs this morning when you say it's sub standard --
